Responsibilities
- 100% thread gauging on thread line
- Calibrating gauges
- Yard inspections including, but not limited to, visual inspections
- Statistical checks, return for credit, cancellations
- Operate saw
- Set up and operate bucking units
- Operate sandblaster
- Fill out inspection reports
- Perform clean and re-doping of threads as needed
SKILLS REQUIRED
Required:
- Understanding API manuals
- Able to work gauges
- Capable of reading and following instructions
- Knowledge of API semi-premium and premium threads
- Classes on thread inspection and gauges
Preferred:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of API manual
- Work all type gauges
